By submitting an enquiry, request for quotation (RFQ), or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)
All products and services are supplied on a request-for-quotation basis.

  • Submission of an RFQ does not create a binding contract

  • Quotations are valid only for the period stated within them

  • Prices, availability, specifications, and lead times are subject to confirmation

A contract is formed only when a quotation is accepted in writing and acknowledged by Lognotec Scientific.

 

4. ORDERS & PURCHASE ORDERS
Orders may be placed by written confirmation, email, or purchase order following acceptance of a quotation.

  • Purchase orders must reference the applicable quotation

  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any order

  • Any additional or conflicting terms included in a customer’s purchase order shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing by Lognotec Scientific

 

5. PRICING & PAYMENT
Pricing, payment terms, applicable taxes, and delivery charges will be specified in the relevant quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated:

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT

  • Payment terms are as agreed per quotation

Failure to comply with agreed payment terms may result in delays to delivery or suspension of future supply.

 

6. DELIVERY
Delivery arrangements, lead times, and shipping terms will be confirmed as part of the quotation.

  • Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed in writing

  • Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery, unless otherwise stated

  • Lognotec Scientific is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or events beyond reasonable control

 

7. PRODUCTS & WARRANTIES
Products are supplied in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and warranties, where applicable.

  • Lognotec Scientific does not provide independent warranties beyond those offered by manufacturers

  • Product suitability for specific applications remains the responsibility of the customer

  • Technical or application information is provided in good faith for guidance only

 

8. SERVICES & THIRD-PARTY SUPPORT
Where services such as installation, maintenance, laboratory setup, or equipment servicing are arranged, these may be provided by manufacturers or approved third-party service providers.

  • Such services may be subject to separate terms and conditions

  • Lognotec Scientific’s role may include coordination or facilitation only

  • We are not responsible for the performance of third-party service providers beyond agreed coordination

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lognotec Scientific shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses

  • Liability for any claim shall be limited to the value of the goods or services supplied under the relevant contract

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any liability that cannot be excluded under law

All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Lognotec Scientific or its licensors and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

 

11. DATA PROTECTION

12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland.
The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

 

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page and will apply from the date of publication.
